This is a quick survey to find out what are the things you worry about since you became a mother? What are the things that make you feel guilty and what are the topics you think all mothers should know more about? I will you use your input to shape my new book “Things Mothers Think” – where I talk about guilt and how to ditch it. It would be great if you could also agree to talk to me and to be interviewed for this book. Sharing your story of pregnancy, labor and motherhood could help other mothers! Reading about other moms can help us feel better about ourselves and that is the main goal of my book. Leave your email address at the bottom of this form and I will send you, as a thank you for your input, a preview copy of the book before it goes into print.

Me and a couple of mums have created a fan page, a parenting club so to say. We want/need to promote it so i wondered if you could go there “like” it and maybe leave a comment or ask a question? www.facebook.com/busyparentsclub

I am so excited! Now, we all cross our fingers that other find it useful or interesting to have a conversation about something I would call “gentle parenting”. We wanted to help each other to give the best to our kids while still being full-time working parents. Our challenge is to come as close as possible to Attachment Parenting  without the need to stop working.

I really hope you might want to connect with me over there and maybe start a conversation… I need all help and attention I can get from you!

One Sentence Journal #336

with NO PICTURES.

I got tiered of this picture a day thing… Sorry! Too many things going on in my head. I do a lot of visual work right now in the office so I suppose I get enough visual stimulation and don’t want take any pictures at the moment.

Oh, BUT I got to shoot with Canon 7D this morning and I loved it so much that I took tons of private pictures and will be shooting more tomorrow, so in a couple of days time there should be loads of images here…

I feel that something is about to happen… it feels like we are on a verge, on an edge … on… don’t know what it is… just a change, another change I suppose.

I am rumbling now – good night everyone:-)

Lugano

Sorry for disappearing for a whole week. I am just so tired… Last week I had plenty of time on Saturday, now nanny works Saturdays I get time to do thing I actually want. None the less, I haven’t done a thing, haven’t printed a picture, haven’t completed any Project life weeks (I am currently 2 weeks behind). This week I couldn’t’ force myself to take a single picture!

Today we went to Lugano. We wanted to interview another nanny and we never been to the Italian part of Switzerland. 2 hours drive each way. Was Ok… nothing special…

My two church goers

Henry spent about 20 minutes in the church listening to the organ music and reading the psalm book (not sure how it’s called – the one with hymns and the music to it).
At the end the friendly priest allowed Henry to turn the handle on the portable very old looking organ they were using.

Henry’s Lion

20120208-001630.jpg

There are three reasons I think this drawing is amazing but I am very open to suggestions of my motherly insanity!!! Please tell me if I am being “typical mother”!
So, the reasons are:
1. You actually can tell it’s a lion without me telling you what it is and
2. Henry told me its a lion while he was drawing it Rather me teasing it out of him so it “all makes sense”
3. The most important one the two last strokes were the horizontal lines to the left and right from the lion. So Henry first drew the animal and then he drew a horizon and put the lion on the ground instead of leaving him hanging in the air of a white page like most kids do. I was watching him draw and it really looked exactly how you would sketch the horizon in a quick sketch!
