Henry was feeling poorly today, all afternoon and I am really looking forward to the 2nd of January, when DD will be over – though I probably will spend another month putting it all together
(it’s official – I have post-holidays blues)
The middle page will be a single photo glued onto the card stock with extra journalling handwritten on the back
Journalling: This is the sort of days I really dislike… The “day afters” … You spend all the time preparing, decorating, choosing and wrapping presents, trying to guess what’s there under the tree for you. Yu invite people over, cook, eat and you are merry. The next day you unwrap the presents, you like them you play with them… But then … all is gone… the tension disappears, the wonder and magic dissolve and all is left is a mountain of torn wrapping paper and a bit of emptiness… Tomorrow all will be better though, it’s just one of the “day afters”
